The 90s Party; THIS SATURDAY :)
weeeeeeeee xxx

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? WONKY IS GOING TO BE 8 YEARS OLD!

We wanted a way to celebrate that was going to be unpretentious, daft and fun in equal measures… and definitely one to remember…. so what better way to throw a birthday party than one based on the naffest decade ever… the 90’s!

For more info, check out the event page!

THIS SATURDAY!

How brilliant were MEN (back then, Le Tigre members Johanna Fateman and JD Samson) when they DJ’d at Wonky all those years ago? Don’t think the top floor has ever been so craaazed. Well they’re back, but this time with a new line up (still JD with Ginger Brooks Takahashi and Michael O’Neill) and a live show. Playing Start The Bus with support from Wonky DJs and an album drop the same week, this is going to be a special one!

MEN play STB on Tuesday 15th February

THE WONK is 7 this November! Be there! click here

Disco aristocracy hits Bristol this Friday. Horse Meat Disco make their 3rd or 4th appearance in the city, this time at long-standing clubnight Futureboogie along with residents El Harvo et al.

In their own words… “Horse Meat Disco is dedicated to the industry of human happiness… Its the queer party for everyone; Homos and Heteros, club kids, bears, fashionistas, naturists, guerilla drag queens and ladies who munch. Musically its a disco behemoth of classics, italo disco, oddities and punk funk…”

Remember their first Bristol set, at none other than The Wonk back in 2008? One of our best Wonks we think. Expect disco heaven with a varied and friendly crowd, this Friday, 10.30 til 4am. Tickets here, Facebook event here.
