Wonky is a monthly alternative club night for gay people. Infact it’s for gay people, bi people, trans people, straight people and every other sort there is really. Well, except homophobes. Those types can just cock off, Wonky is no place for nastiness! Just love and booze and dancing and unpretentious fun :)
Born in November 2003 out of a desperate need for an alternative to the gay scene in Bristol, Wonky is now 8 years old and is bigger, better and sweatier than ever. The night flows through different genres like your favourite mix-tape and the dancefloor is always rammed til the end! On special occasions Wonky hosts stunnin’ guest DJs who have included Horse Meat Disco, Ladytron, Johanna Fateman & JD Samson (Le Tigre/MEN).
